1. Education:
Undergraduate: Usually up to 2 years gap after HSC without work or experience; more if you have relevant work experience or other justified activities.
Postgraduate: Gaps of up to 5 years or more are sometimes accepted if you can show what you did during the gap (work, internships, courses, certificates) and that your academic qualifications are still recent/valid.
2. Financial:
Living expense proof (funds shown) 29,710 AUD (Approx.) proof of funds, health cover and basic associated fees, you might need at least around AUD 33,000-35,000 equivalent.
3. English Proficiency Test:
IELTS: Under Graduate 6.0 not less than 5.5; Post Graduate 6.5 not less than 6.0
PTE: Under Graduate: 50-58; Post Graduate: 58-65 4.
4. Must have to show source of fund & source of income.
5. Health Insurance: 1(One) Year 2,000 AUD (Approx.)
6. Embassy Fee: 2,000 AUD [from 1 July 2025]

Process:

2. Obtain your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
3. Prepare necessary documents.
4. Purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
5. Apply via ImmiAccount.
6. Pay the visa application fee.
7. Submit biometrics and attend a medical exam (if required).
8. Wait for the visa decision.
1. Key Requirements & Eligibility
Offer of Admission & CoE: You must have a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from an Australian education provider.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, or other accepted tests as required by your institution.
Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement: to show that you genuinely intend to stay in Australia temporarily and return after study.
Financial Capacity: You must prove you have enough funds to pay tuition + living expenses + travel + an amount for dependents if applicable.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): Mandatory health insurance for the duration of stay.
Medical Examinations & Biometrics: Depending on your circumstances, you may need to undergo health checks (from panel physician) and provide fingerprints/photos.
